How will the NCITD Scholarship help support you in your studies/prepare for your career?

The NCITD Scholarship will not only alleviate financial constraints in my pursuit of professional and educational opportunities, but it will also open the door for me to establish a presence in the industry. It allows me to learn about the industry from the trained professionals at NCITD and benefit from their collective experience. The Scholarship will truly be pivotal in determining my career path in the near future.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

I see myself being in a role that challenges me to think differently every day, adapt to emerging trends, and solve new problems. The dynamic nature of both the trade and security industries, excites me. Furthermore, I am at my efficient best when my work carries responsibility and requires me to be accountable not just for myself, but for a team. Therefore, I aspire to hold leadership positions either in the international trade or international banking sectors, ensuring compliance with export or sanctions regulations.

More About Me:

I have a fierce drive for acquiring new skills and challenging myself in different ways. This has led me to pursue and hold positions in several forms of professional establishments. From investigative journalism, the think tank space, the international banking sector, to government work, I have challenged myself to adapt professionally and personally to different work conditions, role expectations, skillsets, and workflows. This has resulted in the development of not only a robust and diverse skillet but also a resilient and adaptive character.
